Design Brief
10. Write a short statement of what you are going to make, why you are going to make it, and for whom you are making it. I plan to make a video using Domo Animation in order to teach sixth graders as to what the design cycle is and how it is used.
Formulate a Design Specification
11. What are the requirements for this assignment? I need to have a simple video that follows the design rubric in order to teach the sixth graders what the design cycle is and how it is used. I will also need some sort of presentation tool that can teach my audience well.

  • Need it to be simple for the audience to understand.
  • Contain information about the design cycle and the design cycle rubric.
  • Contain characters that can describe the design cycle.
  • Can not be to difficult to make.
  • Have some sort of setting or back ground.
  • Be entertaining to my audience.
  • Be within a 2min time range.
  • contain music that is entertaining.
12. What are the limitations you have with this assignment? My limitations is that I can not really pull a sixth grader out of class in order to get the quality feed back I would need to test my presentation.
13. How will you "test" your presentation? I will probably ask students around my class and ask them to test my presentation in a mind set that a sixth grader would like and still learn from.

  • I will have a test rubric for the three classmates I will ask for them to test.
  • I will present the video to my classmates.
  • I will then ask my teacher to review my presentation.
  • Make sure that it is with in the time it is ranged to be completed.
